Finding Holiday Cottages Cornwall

With the current cold weather, my thoughts have been on summer holidays. We have decided to take the family to the South West of England we’ve done it before using Bed and Breakfast places, but this time we will rent one or perhaps two Holiday Cottages Cornwall for one week certainly and also somewhere in Devon. Where to find the cottages we want? Well I talked with some neighbours, who I remembered had been to the South West of England quite recently, both enthused about the Eden project; the husband of the family is a bit of a fan of old technology liked the Marconi centre at Poldhu, and the Telegraph museum at Porthcurnow.

We began to plan our country holiday. We wanted to be in the country, with walks and good views, not too far from a beach. The Coombe valley was a good walking area we knew so near there would be nice. We eventually decided on a farm cottage, a barn conversion, right on the edge of the Coombe valley, five miles from Bude and a nice two mile walk to Duckpool beach. As a bonus, that we did not expect there is fishing in two ponds on the farm and the farm animals, which will amuse the kids. We booked two weeks in July and August cannot wait to be there.
